A fantastic result following the Shotton Memorial Tree incident!

The suspect for the damage caused to Shotton Memorial tree has now appeared at court and plead guilty. The judge has advised him to expect an immediate custodial sentence, with sentencing taking place on 16th June.

This was an incident that understandably caused a lot of upset in the community, so its great to be able to bring a positive update. A massive thank you again to everyone who came together and supported us throughout the investigation - Your help always makes a difference! 

A really positive outcome all round and a great example of the community and police working together.
